Entanglement
summer heats up the shallows*
still dew in the grass
catalpa leaf in sunwash
summer heats up the shallows
warms the deep water as we cross
toes feeling carefully
for each cool stone

Just a brief note to thank people for continuing to look into the texts I post here. It means a lot to me to know of your interest. Many will know already that I also have a presence on commercial social media apps where I'm also locatable as William Bain Poetry. Some of these apps are undergoing changes I and many other users don't like, and on that theme I merely want to say that I am currently looking further afield at different platforms. Also, finally, I am still very pleased to be a member of the Blogspot Community. And again, thanks for your support.
