Barcelona, winter 2020/2021
And light rain
developing out of mist—
meet the cold snap as
a friend of old,
lingering present
to walk with.
Bright voices
sing the city cheer.
Still mostly sunny days,
wintering sheer from harbor to hills—
large portions of hope
range forth,
frosty breath
through new shutters.
